It's hard to believe that day 6 has already arrived! It seems like I was just in London (well, I was, I guess) and now I'm on my fourth day in Spain! Wowzers.
Today we went shopping in Europe's fourth largest shopping center (it used to be the biggest). Although they had a lot of stores to shop at, it didn't strike me as a must-see shopping center. I much more enjoyed shopping at the Cabazon Outlets in California :) haha. Anyways... We went to a few different stores and looked for neat clothes. Sadly, most of the clothes had English all over them or pictures of American things (like cartoons), so I wasn't really enthralled to buy anything. I did, though, buy a Spanish soccer/futbol shirt at Adidas—so now I'm a real Spaniard :).
After shopping, we headed home and at some AMAZING tortilla de patatas (a classic Spanish dish that is like a huge omelet made with eggs and potatoes. May not sound as good as it is, but it was fantastic. Cristian's mom is a great cook).
It was mid afternoon, so we decided to watch a movie. I picked one out that was a Spanish movie about the civil war when Franco came into power as Spain's dictator. I ended up seeing only a few minutes of it because I fell asleep :) haha.
Then we went to pick up Kaity at the train station. It was so good to see her again! We all chatted for a long long time and played the karaoke video game (rocked it out with Cindy Lauper and Brittany Spears). Talked even more until 2 a.m. Then went to bed.
Ah... a good day.
